Here's the adapter in action. It has a built in bubble level and uses the compass from the Meade tripod:
Below are some images of the disassembled adapter. The black knob is from the Meade tripod.
The square pin sticking up in the last image came with the EM-10 mount.
In the images above I added an extra tilted bubble level mounting hole since my EM-10 mount cannot normally go to lattitudes
above 50deg (Denmark is at 55deg). By setting up the tripod in a tilted fashion I can fool the EM-10 mount into working at
