M17 (Swan nebula)

Conditions: aquired in Barraba, a small town in New South Wales, Australia; no moon, passing haze and clouds

Setup: Borg 100ED F6.4, DF-2 focusser, CFW-8, L(IR reject)+R+G+B filters, ST10XE, Takahashi EM-10 mount (here's a picture of this setup)

Exposure time: L(1x1 binning): 8x200 sec and 4x4 sec; R,G,B(2x2 binning): 6x60 sec, 12x60 sec, 5x60 sec (few R,B exposures due to clouds)

Processing (Mira, MaximDL, Registar, Photoshop): dark subtracted, flat fielded, de-bloomed, registered, median/avr combined, repaired de-blooming artifacts using short exposure frames, DDP, color balanced, combined as LLRGB, cropped and reduced to 75% of original size for web presentation
