Conditions: acquired at 20:59 UT in Denmark three hours before first contact in the total lunar eclipse of this evening. Very hazy, seeing pretty bad (~6 arcsec).
Setup: Borg 100ED F6.4, DF-2 focusser, CFW8 (H-alpha, OIII (used for this image), H-beta), ST10XE (here's a picture of this setup).
Exposure time: 0.01 sec (1x1 binning)
Processing outline (Mira, Photoshop): dark subtracted, flat fielded, levels & curves, mild unsharp mask, reduced 2/3.
I also acquired H-alpha and H-beta shots to build a color image, however drifting haze gave rise to false colors when I attempted this. Therefore,
only the OIII channel is shown here.
